Employment opportunities are both varied and complicated. In fact, a person who is at a job one day can be tempted by another position, even when not looking for other work. Fortunately, staffing companies offer a number of services that can help you find success in staffing your company not only for today, but also the future.

Successfully Staffing Your Company Is a Balancing Act Between Finding and Keeping the Best Hires

The day that your top employee walks in and announces that she is leaving can be a difficult one. The latest research shows that new hires who undergo a structured on-boarding program are 58% more likely to be with the company three years later. Given that the costs of employee turnover can range from 30% to 150% of the employee’s salary, it is in the best interest of every company to make sure that they keep the top candidates that they find. Without specific practices in place, however, it is easy to lose the workers who you depend on the most.

One option that many companies are using to keep the top workers is to implement employee recognition structures. In fact, 86% of companies with employee recognition programs cite an increase in worker happiness.
